There may be scholarships available from Seabrook Mckenzie, under certain conditions, to assist with your expenses. Please email courses@seabrookmckenzie.net to ask for more information about the scholarship conditions.
After a year of on-line courses with SPELD, we will take over the training to enable you to achieve the SMC qualification Certificate in Specialist Teaching of Ākonga/Individuals with SLD. In-depth Introduction to SLDs: A course for those wanting to learn more about SLDs and how to support individuals with SLDs. This course is for both parents wanting to understand and support a neurodiverse child and school staff wanting professional development on SLDs. It will mainly focus on understanding rather than on intervention techniques. More information.
-
Teaching Certificate in SLDs: A course for professionals (usually registered teachers or those already working as teacher aides) who are wanting comprehensive training on interventions for SLDs.
